Internet and Public Computers

Internet and computer access

Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries provides a number of computers at each branch for public use, with internet access, word processing and spreadsheet programs. This service is free for library members and visitors. Computers can be booked in the library or by phoning Queanbeyan Library on 6285 6238. Please remember to bring your library card (or some photo ID if you are a visitor).

Please bring your own memory stick to save your work. The PCs are refreshed and will not retain any of your work for future access.

Sessions are for 15 minutes or one hour. This time may be extended if there are no other bookings. The total time allowed is two hours for each person per day.

Printing costs are 25c per page for black and white, $1 for A4 colour and $1.50 for A3 colour.

Wi-Fi is available at all branches free of charge, but you must ask for a Wi-Fi Pass with an access code at the library desk.

Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries also provide some basic computer training opportunities. Group classes are often held for members of the public at Queanbeyan Library.  Please ask staff for available times as these sessions must be booked ahead. One-on-one help sessions may also be booked through the Book a Librarian form below.
